Denton Bridge River Cruise – A Lazy Day on The Gambia River
A day cruise on a lovely cruise boat to relax and enjoy the beautiful River Gambia and its beautiful ecosystem.
We will start our cruise from Denton Bridge (the entrance of Banjul, the capital).
You will have the opportunity to peacefully sun bathe but the boat is also shaded, so no worries if you do not like the sun or have had enough already on your trip!
The primary goal of this tour is relaxation but also gives you the opportunity to explore the Mangrove vegetations and spot birds and wildlife.
Sport fishing is also part of this tour, with luck (or skill!) you will be able to catch fish like Barracuda, Captain Fish, Lady Fish, Butter Fish and more.
The cruise duration is from 10am to 4pm, complete with tea or coffee and a buffet lunch on the boat with drinks.
The catch of the day will be grilled for the winner as dinner!

You’ll navigate narrow waterways, dodging roots and oysters, while targeting species like Bonga, Tilapia, Barracuda and more.
The mangroves are a nursery for fish, making it a prime spot.
This can be a half or full day tour depending on your preference.
