Abuko Nature Reserve is a protected area in the Gambia known for its biodiversity and birdlife. It’s a popular destination for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
The reserve is home to over 250 bird species including Green Turaco, Little Greenbul, Western Bluebill, Yellow Breasted Apalis, Raptors and more!
Abuko is a home to Monkeys, Crocodiles, Monitor Lizards and Antipopes.
A great spot for spotting species like Giant Kingfisher, Abyssinian Roller, White-Backed Night Heron and more.
This is a great area to explore and spot some colorful bird species.
The Tambi wetlands are a vital ecosystem in the Gambia known for their rich biodiversity and scenic views, we can spot various bird species including migratory birds.
Kartong village in the Gambia known for its birdwatching opportunities, the area features Mangrove Forests, Wetlands and Coastal habitats.
These environments attract a variety of bird species including migratory birds visiting from Europe and Asia.
It is a good spot for Herons, Egrets, Kingfishers, Bee-Eaters, Weavers and more.
A narrow strip of land between the sea and the main coastal road, home to over 300 species including Raptors and Waders.
Tujereng woods is a fantastic spot for birding. The area features woodland and coastal habitats that attracts a variety of bird species such as Sunbirds, Woodpeckers, Kingfishers, Raptors, Seabirds and many more.
This trip is a 2 night and 3 days tour, with a stay at Marakissa River Camp and the Nature Reserve (Day Trips also possible).
Includes Accommodation, Food, Water and Soft Drinks.

Makasutu Cultural Forest is a 1000 acre eco-tourism destination in The Gambia.
It’s known for it’s diverse ecosystems including mangroves, Savannah and gallery forest and home to various wildlife such as Baboons, Monkeys, Monitor Lizards and over 250 bird species. Several guided tours are possible here, such as:

Brufut woods is a fantastic spot for bird watching in the Gambia. The areas many diverse habitats including Forest, Woodland and Coastal Scrub attract a wide variety of bird species. Some birds I will help you to spot in Brufut woods include Bee-Eaters, Woodpeckers, Sunbirds, Barbets, Owls, Raptors, Migratory Birds and more.
Tendaba camp is a great spot for birding! Located on the bank of Gambia River, near Kiang West National Park, it offers sightings of Ground Hornbill, African Fin Foot, African Fish Eagle, Comorants, Gabar, Chanting Goshawk and many more.
This trip is a 2 night stay at the camp with 3 days to explore Tendaba and the surrounding area (1 night / 2 days is also possible) and consists of the following:
